Who We Are

We are Straight Shooter Services, LLC. Our business is a home-based workshop in New Braunfels, Texas established in 2012. We pick up and deliver only.

Meet Our Gunsmith

Our certified gunsmith is Jerry Everett. His specialty is using a model of how guns work to solve interesting gun problems that don’t seem to interest other gunsmiths. He sought out gunsmith certifications that are based on students’ knowledge of such a gun operation model. He found such a certification offered by the American Gunsmithing Institute whose instructors have developed the model Jerry was seeking. He earned American Gunsmithing Institute certification as an Armorer for Law Enforcement which required knowledge of 14 different manufacturer firearms to pass a 546 question exam. He holds a Federal Firearms License which he must have to transport guns to and from the workshop for service.
